There are many problems to resolve as the world shifts to hybrid work. particularly with regard to formulating and implementing the policy, guidelines, or strategy for hybrid work. You can, however, already model yourself after many outstanding local and regional leaders.
Spotify: Work from Anywhere
One of the first companies to publicly announce a very explicit “Work From Anywhere policy” was Spotify. These policies give workers the freedom to live where they choose and to work primarily from home, the office, or a coworking space. Spotify guarantees that “your home working space meets the needs of therole and offer you the same or similar equipment you’d enjoy at the office” for employees who work remotely.
Hubspot: Choose Your Working Style
Once a year, HubSpotters can choose the employment option that best suits their needs: @office (a designated workstation at the office where you visit three or more times a week) @home (making just one or two trips to a HubSpot office per quarter). HubSpot facilitates work-from-home arrangements, or @flex (a flexible desk in a HubSpot office that allows for work-from-home arrangements on two or fewer days per week).
Google: Purposeful office Days
Google still allows for flexibility, but non-remote workers must return to the office three days a week on average. ” Include meetings, collaborating colleagues in other divisions & the conducting brainstorming sessions, meeting with clients & the vendors and community building” is how these deliberate office days could be used.

In order to enhance social contact and teamwork, employees can now locate a workspace that is activity-based and offers free seats.

After conducting an extensive and well-written poll of all employees, which revealed how “flexible” meant different things to different people, Figma concluded that workers should select whether they work remotely or are part of a “hub.” To optimize relationships and communities, everyone must spend at least two days a week in the office at their major S.F. hub. Hybrid work examples in Southeast Asia
There are excellent instances of mixed work policies in the area as well. Consider this:
- Manpower Group. Right to disconnect’ policy was put into place by Manpower Group. Employees are encouraged by this not to reply to work-related texts after hours.
- Heineken Vietnam. Although they give their workers flexibility in terms of when they come into work, they do have one weekly “all company day” and one weekly “team day.”
- Baemin. To accommodate their schedules outside of work, Baemin gives its employees the choice to start an hour earlier or later than usual.
- DBS Singapore. permits the sharing of a full-time role’s responsibilities by two people. This makes asynchronous working and flexibility possible.
