Having the best weapons in OSRS is important if you want your character to progress and for you to complete more missions and quests in the game.
Some of the great weapons can be acquired through rare drops, while others will require a good amount of OSRS gold to get them.

Saradomin Godsword
With a slash damage of +132 and a strength bonus of +132, the Saradomin Godsword is a powerful weapon that can make your life a lot easier once acquired. This sword can increase your max hit by 10% and double your accuracy.
You can make Saradomin Godsword yourself by combining 3 Godsword shards found in the God Wards Dungeon and a Saradomin Hilt. However, you must have at least a level 75 Attack to use this weapon.
Scythe of Vitur
This two-handed slash weapon in OSRS will require you to have at least level 75 Attack and Strength. The best thing about the Scythe of Vitur is it has the ability to hit three of your opponents at the same time as long as they’re in your surrounding area. If you’re just facing a single monster, well, it can hit it 3 times in a single attack.
When you have this weapon with you, you’ll get a +75 Strength Bonus, a +70 Stab Bonus, a +30 Crush Bonus, and of course, a +70 Stab Bonus.
You can get the Scythe of Vitur as a rare drop in the Theatre of Blood. This one of the most difficult weapons to acquire.

When you use this weapon, you get a 25% chance of inflicting venom to your enemy.
Abyssal Whip
The Abyssal Whip is one of the best one-handed melee weapons in OSRS and is a preferred weapon by training this OSRS skill. It’s known for having a special attack that drains your opponent’s run energy.
This OSRS item requires a level 70 Attack to wield. You can get this item as a rare drop from the Abyssal Demons but you need to have a level 85 Slayer to face it.
Ghrazi Rapier
Another rare drop from OSRS Theatre of Blood, the Ghrazi Rapier is known for its high attack and strength bonus with a good attack speed. This ferocious stab weapon has a +94 Stab Bonus and a +89 Strength Bonus and will require a level 75 Attack for you to wield it.
The name of for this OSRS weapon refers to the House Ghrazi, a vampire house known for their aggression during battle.
Dragon Scimitar
This OSRS weapon requires you to have at least a level 60 Attack and you should be done completing the Money Madness I quest. The Dragon Scimitar is the strongest of its kind and along with the Abyssal Whip, it is one of the most popular weapons used for OSRS melee training.
For non-Ironman, you can get this item from the Grand Exchange.
For Ironman, you can get this weapon from Daga’s Scimitar Smithy on Ape Atoll for about 100,000 coins.
3rd Age Longsword
Considered the best longsword, this OSRS weapon boasts a lot of good stat bonuses such as a +72 Slash Bonus, a +75 Strength Bonus, and a +60 Crush Bonus. To use the 3rd Age Longsword, you must have at least a level 65 Attack.
This weapon is popular because instead of a stab attack style it utilizes a crush attack style.
